Blanca touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. She is survived by: her daughters, Yalile Cárdenas-Navarro, Elizabeth Cárdenas-Murphy, Juliana Cárdenas and Carla León; and her son-in-law Michael Murphy. She is also survived by grandchildren and their spouses; and her 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to support the Niños de la Navidad of the La Pola Presbyterian Church in Ibagué, a cause very dear to Blanca.
