He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Montanaro and Rose Montanaro; his wife Lisa Trezza Montanaro; his brother Louis "Butch" Montanaro; and his granddaughter Samantha Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Roberts (Keith), Christy Montanaro-Silvia (Tom) of Peter and Analisa Montanaro (Erik); his grandchildren, Anthony (Kathryn), Ashley (Ryan), Amanda, Autumn, Gabriella of Andrew and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Olive, Giacobbe and Olsen; his sister-in-law Pam (Ray); and his sibling's children, Tyler and Alexis (Chris).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Fair View Cemetery.
