Herbert Ostermiller Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Ostermiller (Middletown, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Ostermiller (Miller) and Louis Ostermiller; his wife Joan Ostermiller (Kurdes); his sons, Gary and Brian; and his siblings, Mary Vodarsik, Katie Strauch, Alice Wall, Florence Oziecki, Rosemary Getto, Louis Ostermiller and George Ostermiller.

He is survived by: his children, Wayne Ostermiller (Tammy), Louis Ostermiller (Kathleen), Troy Ostermiller (Kerry), Kim Karaman (Dru), Tammi Koeppel (Richard) and Dawn Gmoch (Rich); his grandchildren, Clint Ostermiller (Amanda), Coltin Ostermiller (Amanda), Brianne Ostermiller (Raymond), Eric Ostermiller, Dru Karaman Jr. (Amanda), Trent Karaman (Samantha), Mya Ostermiller, Carter Ostermiller, Shana Baker (Christopher), Kourtni Kostu, Alexandra Gmoch and Christian Gmoch; his great grandchildren, Connor, Porter, Sawyer, Ryker, Tylie, Bria, Raymond III, Nora, Cash, Eriana, Kaela, Aiden, Luke and Rowan; and his pet Bandit. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or The Alzheimer's Association in his honor.
