He was predeceased by : his siblings, Lisa Lylo, Billy Craparo and William Austin (Paige Ashley Craparo). He is survived by : his mother Mary Austin; his stepfather Joseph Austin; his father James Craparo; his stepmother Carol Craparo; his children, John Craparo, Jr. and Alanna Craparo; his siblings, Jeffrey Austin, J. J. Craparo, Anthony Craparo, Kathleen Quinlan, Jenna Neri and Jennifer Tommy; and his nephew Nicolas Lylo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
