He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph MacMahon and Margaret B. MacMahon; and his wife Eleanor Mary MacMahon. He is survived by: his children, Eleanor (Douglas Frank), Elizabeth (Joseph Webers), John D. MacMahon, Jr. (Mary), Colleen Mulligan, Timothy P. MacMahon (Joyce), Mary Jo (Gerard Sweeney) and Meghan (Stefan Haas). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
