We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 92, John F Poccia of Middletown, New Jersey, born in Utica, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carmella Poccia; his brothers, Nicholas Poccia (Betty) and Venanzio Poccia (Elinor); his uncles, Phillip, Dominick, Anthony and Joseph Poccia; and his daughter-in-law Katherine Zoll.
He is survived by: his wife Carmelita; his son John F. Poccia III (Stella); his grandchildren, Robert Poccia, Richard Poccia, John F. Poccia IV, Melissa, Dan O'Keefe, Paul and Tina Mershon; his great grandchildren, Finley, Max and PJ; and his nieces and nephews, Ronald, Marge Poccia, Linda Omland-Hirsch, Phillip Hirsch, Kevin Poccia and Venanzio Poccia.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St James Catholic Church (94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
