He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Gladys Martin; his wife Rosemary T. Ferguson; and his sister Patricia Daly (Denis). He is survived by: his sons, John of Red Bank and Thomas of Rumson; his grandchildren, Matteo Martin, Bianca Calderon and Kearny Villagas; his nephew Robert Ferguson; and his daughters-in-law, Clarissa Villalta and Cynthia Martin. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John E. Day Funeral Home (85 Riverside Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701).
