With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Matthies of Middletown, New Jersey, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on November 9, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Matthies and Catherine Matthies. He is survived by: his wife Carmen D. Matthies of Middletown, NJ; his children, Renee M. Reilly (John) of New Jersey and John P. Matthies (Erika) of Staten Island; and his siblings, Teresa Molloy, Carol Hauser, Maureen Bringoli and Gerard Matthies of Whiting, NJ. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
