He is survived by: his wife Francine Saia Petersen; his children, Michele Petersen Ryder (William Ryder) of Middletown, Stephanie Petersen of Middletown and John Michael Petersen of Keansburg; his grandchildren, Hailey, Tristan Ryder, Cayden and Tatum Petersen; and his sisters, Rosemary, Margaret Petersen of Belford and Eileen DiPietro of Atlantic Highlands.
