She was predeceased by: her parents, William Higgins and Katherine Higgins (McTeiran); her husband Edward Valente; and her son John. She is survived by: her children, Paul Valente (Brenda) of Middletown and Karen Donovan (James) of Vero-Beach; her daughter-in-law Marie Valente; and her grandchildren, Paul Valente, Nicole Valente, Vianna Valente, Melaina Valente, Emily Valente, Danielle Valente, Sara Valente and Krista Valente.
