He is survived by: his wife Karen Knipshild Berner; his children, Drew (Ally), Hillary Cecere (John) and Victoria Silverman (Daniel); his grandchildren, Quincy, Theodore, Penelope Berner, Summer, Sloane, Sadie, Serena Cecere and Aubrey Silverman; and his brother David (Cheryl).
