He was predeceased by: his father George Philipps; his sons, Robert Philipps Jr. and Scott Philipps; and his brother Richard Philipps. He is survived by: his wife Elena Philipps; his daughter Lisa Barker (William) of Union Beach; his grandchildren, Richard, Lisa Marie and Melissa Rose; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Carmine and Luna.
