He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Bartel and Rosalie Bartel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Schiebel Bartel; his children, Kathleen Richardson (Paul), Mary Ellen Della Valle (Joseph), Thomas Bartel (Lauren) and Brian Bartel (Tina Marie); his brother Steven Bartel (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Taylor Bartel, Casey Bartel-Weiss, Sydney Bartel, Jordyn Della Valle, Joseph Della Valle, Jack Della Valle, Cole Richardson and Jillian Bartel.
