He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Schild and Mary Delaney Schild; his wife Jean Foxworth Schild; his children, William Thomas Schild (Heather) and Laura Schild Hay (David); and his grandchildren, Suzanne Schild Fichter (Jason), Andrew Schild, Kate Schild, Ben Fichter, Zachary Fichter and Annabelle Fichter. He was also cherished by brother, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kenan Chapel, Landfall, Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, or to St. Mark Catholic Church.
