Inez Carling Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nils Carling and Anna Carling. She is survived by: her children, Michael and Laurie Ann DiMassimo; her daughter-in-law Rosemarie; her grandchildren, Paulina, Dominic and Nicholas; and her sisters, Hope Maihoffer and Ruth Prevost. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home (34 N Summit St, Pearl River, NY 10965). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (2 Fremont Ave, Park Ridge, NJ 07656).

Early in her career she worked in secretarial roles later to advance towards social work serving as an Employment Specialist for Gateway Community Services and a Care Consultant for the Alzheimer's Association in Hudson Valley, NY.
