With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Norma Linda Velez-Basile of Millstone Township, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Norma left this world on October 1, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Basile; and her parents, Romualdo Velez and Rose Velez. She is survived by: her daughters, Roseann Marie Iannaccone (Michael) of Millstone Township, Dawn Frances Daza (Frank Miller) of Old Bridge, Nancy Lynn Basile of Browns Mills and Jaime Lee Basile of Brick; and her grandchildren, Josaphine, Brian, Andrew, Alexia, Joseph, Angelina, Jessica, Eric, Gianna, Jaelee and Brett. She is also survived by six siblings, four brothers and two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (91 Stillhouse Rd, Millstone, NJ 08510). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the C. Doyle Nj Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Hopewell, NJ 08525).
