He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bonura and Elizabeth Bonura (Biondo); his siblings, Stephano Bonura, Stephen Bonura and Angelina Casabianca; his brother-in-law Peter Mazzagatti; and his siblings' children, MaryAnn Schultz, Patty Harry, Carol Bonura and Brian Bonura.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Mazzagatti); his children, John Bonura (Donna) of Bluffton, Diane Ripa (Ben) of Millstone Township, NJ and Mary Ann Lepping (Jack) of Brielle, NJ.; his grandchildren, Lauren Giallella (Louis), Michael Kapuscienski (Nicole), Samantha Kapuscienski, Krista Franki (Matt), Jenna Mudd (Taylor), Jessica Kolesnik (Michael), John Bonura (Megan), Ryan Ripa (Jackie) and Christopher Ripa (Amanda); and his caregivers, Willie, Rose and Griselda. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Bonura family requests for those who wish to send a donation to the St. Jude Hospital and The Lep Foundation for Youth Education.
