Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Canto and Mary Canto; his son Michael Canto; and his siblings, Louis Canto, Thomas Canto, Jean Poole and Rachel Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Canto; and his son Richard M. Canto of Milltown.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crabiel Home For Funerals (170 N Main St, Milltown, NJ 08850).
