He was predeceased by: his father Charles Lawrence Slaney, Jr.; his close friend Tammy Lynn Ott; his mother Helen Ruth Polhamus; his brothers, Frank James Slaney, Sr. and Michael Anthony Slaney, Sr.; and his nephew Zebedee Tyai Slaney.
He is survived by: his cousin Paul; his children, Teresa Lynn Cossaboon of Millville, NJ, Jessica Lynn Terron of Millville, NJ, Sherrie Rebecca Slaney of Millville, NJ and Curtis Walter Riggins, Jr. of Bridgeton, NJ; his grandchildren, Brook, Katlyn, Rebecca, Carolyn, Jaylynn, Jenna, Julie, Curtis "Ty", Sean, Aiden, Jose "Junior", Jenessa, Jaylah, Amiyah and Julianah; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Logan, Natalie, Dollie Jean, Michael Lawrence, Bryson, Rylee, Raelynn and Genevieve; and his sisters, Helen Ann Vestal of Fort Myers, FL, Lorretta Theresa Slaney-Gonzalez of Fort Myers, FL, Barbara Ruth Slaney of Millville, NJ, Diane Maria Snow (Gary) of Millville, NJ, Dorothy Rose Slaney of Millville, NJ, Michelle Marie Slaney-Mills (Jeffrey) of Millville, NJ and Linda Frances Green (Robert) of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
He enjoyed doing motorcycle charity runs with his brother, Frank and his cousin, Paul and joy rides with his long-term companion, Tammy, whom he loved to show off with, in their matching chaps.
