He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Young, and Walter Young, Sr.; his brothers, John, Leon and Walter Young, Jr.; his wife Annette "Toni" Young; his children, Daniel, Jr., Shawn, Danielle and Brent Young (Sabrina); his siblings, Tommy, Diane, Hazel, Yvonne (Rico) and David Young; his siblings-in-law, Flora Young, Peggy Bright, Joy Atkins, Rochele Manno (David), Jeffrey (Kimberly), Michael (Anna) and Jonathan Goldsboro; and his aunt Alice Smith.
