He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Vanaman (Rocap) and John Vanaman; and his siblings, William Vanaman, Jack Vanaman, Jim Vanaman, Ellen Vanaman Scott, Lynne Vanaman Lomberk and Eleanor Vanaman Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Vanaman (Kuper); his children, Diane Vanaman and Scott Vanaman (Andrea); his grandchildren, Courtney Olsen, Bryan, Corbin Chance, Kelsie, Alexis Vanaman and Eric Vanaman; his great grandchildren, Madelyn Olsen and Hayden Olsen; his brother Warren Vanaman; and his parents-in-law, Jean and Anthony Kuper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
