We are sad to announce that, on February 11, 2023, at the age of 75, Irvin David Ewan (Millville, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irvin Mason Ewan and Edna May Ewan (DuBois); his wife Diann Ewan (Burkhardt); his sister Wendy Ewan Pavlics (Greg); his niece Jessica Pavlics Cavalone (Vincent); and his great-nephews, Gregory and Michael Cavalone.

More recently his health (and COVID) kept him from some of his activities, but his love of reading and research, his friends and family, and offbeat sense of humor helped him through the hard times.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church or CU Maurice River.

“We heard the news of David's passing through family members. We were shocked and saddened to hear about the loss to our sister/sister-in-law Diann. Dave graduated from Millville Senior High School in 1966 with me, his future brother-in-law. He met and married Diann and they were together for 55 years. They both achieved many goals and we're well thought of in the Millville area community. Diann graduated from Millville Senior High School in it's maiden year of 1965 as well as Glassboro College.”
