He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, John J. Chopek and Terri Dougherty (Joe); his grandchildren, Lewis I Chopek, Jr. and Cassady R Ayres; and his sister Cora Smith (Steve). He is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
