He is survived by : his wife June Mitchell; his daughter Dr. Laura Mitchell; his sister Emma Jane Fox (Horace) of Newfield; his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Fithian (Sam) of Dallas and Judy Fithian (Roger) of Christiansburg; his granddaughter Taylor Mitchell-Lax; his great grandchild Hadley Lax of Green Bay; and his stepgranddaughter Melissa Palacpac (Logan) of San Antonio.
