She was predeceased by: her husband John Rodney King; her parents, Harold Holmes Force and Gertrude Sander Force; and her siblings, Harold H. Force Jr. and Gertrude Howgate (John Rodney King).
She is survived by: her children, Christina King Van Embden (Nathan) of Millville, Dr. John Stephen King of Middlesex and Mark Andrew King (Kathryn) of Ormond Beach, Florida; her grandson Seth Andrew Van Embden (Tom Hicks) of Guernsey; her children, Elisabeth Sander Van Embden (Gabriel Gausachs) of Neshanic Station, NJ and Sander Dwight King of Middlesex, NC.; and her friends, Marie Nicke, Anne Johnson and Barbara Spaeth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Loretta's memory to local organizations: Citizens United Maurice River, Barn Studio of Art, or Inspira Foundation.
