He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Pennington Miles; and his parents, Milton Miles and Anita Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Miles Jr. (Kathy) and John Mark Miles Sr. (Brandy); and his grandchildren, Amber Marie Miles, Raymond Garin Miles, John Mark Miles Jr. and Ryan Gregory Miles.
