With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Mongelli of Millville, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mongelli and Rita Mongelli. She is survived by: her sisters, Debra Gonzalez (Richard) and Joann M. Gale (John); her siblings' children, Amanda Perry (Shane) and Matthew Gale (Michelle); her friends, Anthony, Bobbi Jo Kukal and Peg VanBuskirk; Alexandra, Anthony and Emily. She is also survived by several cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christy Funeral Home (11 W Broad St, Millville, NJ 08332). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parish of All Saints Buck & Depot StreetsMillville.
