He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cox and Marie Cox Sr. (Sites); and his siblings, John Cox Jr., Thomas Cox and Joan Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Gail (Coward); his children, Virginia Horton (Russell) of Millville, Billie-Jo Eilenberg (Jesse) of Millville and Steven Cox; his brother Lawrence Cox (Joan) of Millville; his grandchildren, Jessica Mikus (Micheal), Devin Chamberlain (Kellie), Jesse Cox (Taylor Sickler) and Shelby Horton; his great grandchildren, Damien, Blake and Hope; and his friend Howard Grablow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
