He was predeceased by: his parents, Geremia Gentile and Antiope Gentile; his siblings, Louis Gentile and Diana Ionata; his niece Maria Matteo; and his wife Helen Pearl Gentile.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Chris Wollny (Wendy) and Melissa Savidge (David); his grandchildren, Kristen, Lauren, Jessica, Chris Jr., Wollny, Andrew and Bryn Savidge; his great grandchild Jameson; and his nieces and nephews, Sandra Kellar, Claudia Gonzalez, Dennis Ionata and Michael Ionata.
