Though Ami may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ami touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cho Pil Dae and Kim Okran; and her brothers, Jai Won and Jae Woong. She is survived by: her husband Myong Chul; her children, Laura and Shane; her daughter-in-law Suzy; her grandchildren, Phoebe and Ollie; and her siblings, Rochi, Roa and Aran. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Korean Baptist Church of Washington (310 Randolph Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904).
