With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amy Tunison of Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Amy Tunison to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elynor Cooper and Jack Cooper; and her brother Jeff Cooper. She is survived by: her daughter Ellie Faye; her husband Jack Tunison; her son-in-law Daniel Habib; her siblings, Cheryl (Howard Schickler) and Warren Cooper (Bonnie Pariser); her sisters-in-law, Kathy (George Aston), Tammy Elliot and Faye Fella; her siblings' children, Ria, Max, Ross, Melanie, Zachary, Dominique, Ryan, Sean, Connor, Rebecca, Jamie, Jesse and Emily; her great-nephew Benjamin (Amy); and her granddaughter Maddie.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beth Israel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Amy specifically requested donations be made to STAAR Low-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer Foundation in support of research that could save her daughter Ellie's life.
