With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Joseph Miller (Monmouth Junction, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 77. In the sacred silence of farewell, James Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Miller Sr. and Janet Miller; his daughters, Sherri Miller and Tina Mellas; and his siblings, Joseph Miller, Barry Miller and Margaret Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Valquiria Miller; and his daughters, Tammie Miller and Marie Rice. He is also survived by 7 sisters, 3 brothers, along with 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the M. J. Murphy Funeral Home (616 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
