She was predeceased by: her parents, Agapito Uy and Zenaida Uy (Racimo); her husband Edilberto P. Torio; her brothers, Raul Uy and Arturo Uy; and her children-in-law, Vincent Orsillo and Rulour Torio.
She is survived by: her children, Arlene Rodriguez (Albert), Marissa Orsillo and Frederick Torio; her grandchildren, Austin Rodriguez (Lynn), Adrienne Padden (Gerard) and Camille Torio-Joe (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Milo and Andi Padden; and her siblings, Orlando Uy, Charito Olivares, Esther Ferrer, Luzbella Uy, Candelaria Ancheta (Angelino) and Frances Luz. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. J. Murphy Funeral Home (616 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Augustine Church of Canterbury (45 Henderson Rd, Kendall Park, NJ 08824).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to American Heart Association or PKD Foundation.
