She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Bennett and Catherine Bennett; and her siblings, Dorothy Morrell, Barbara Horvath and Gershom Bennett.

She is survived by: her husband Darby O'Brien, Jr.; her sons, Darby O'Brien III, Kevin O'Brien and Michael O'Brien; her daughters-in-law, Dale O'Brien and Brenda O'Brien; and her grandchildren, Melissa O'Brien, Darby O'Brien IV, James O'Brien, Kevin O'Brien and Thomas O'Brien. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. J. Murphy Funeral Home (616 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852).
