With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Kovarcik of Monroe Township, New Jersey, born in Garfield, New Jersey, who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Kovarcik; her parents, Andrew Lesko and Tressa Lesko; her siblings, Stefan, Milan Lesko and Helen Kmetz; and her cousin Edward Sabo.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Joseph Kovarcik Smith (Annamaria) and Kathleen S. Marrolli (Joseph D.); her grandchildren, Jacqueline B. Marrolli, Joseph F. Marrolli, Rebecca L. Smith and Rachel D. Smith; and her great grandchild Tressa Beth Ladiero-Marrolli.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home (1313 Van Houten Ave, Clifton, NJ 07013). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Garfield, NJ.
