He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick DeSantis and Theresa DeSantis (Peppito); his son Louis Haagen; and his siblings, James DeSantis, Nicholas DeSantis and Martha Hinton.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne DeSantis (Chirelli); his daughter-in-law Melicent Haagen; his grandsons, Michael Roman, Matthew Roman and Joseph Haagen; his siblings, Dominick DeSantis, Joseph DeSantis, John DeSantis, Ralph DeSantis, Mary Pero, Theresa Breck, Christine Hernandez and Diane DeSantis; and his children, Carl DeSantis, Jr. and Danielle DeSantis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
