The family announces the passing of Genevieve Spango (Monroe Township, New Jersey) on September 3, 2026. Genevieve, born on November 13, 1924, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco J. Spango; her parents, Nicholas Allawas and Julia Allawas (Arab); and her siblings, Mary Joseph, Vicki Manocchio, Charlie Allawas, Georgette Allawas, George Allawas and Amil Allawas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Cadogan of New York City and Donna Rendeiro (Richard) of Monroe Township; her grandchildren, Richard Rocco Rendeiro (Jessica Downes) and Michele Genevieve Frias (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Rocco Jon and Gabriella Genevieve. She is also survived by one great granddaughter on the way, and many other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home (205 Rhode Hall Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Burial Park (840 Cranbury - South River Rd, Jamesburg, NJ 08831).
