She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Fried and Stella Fried; and her brother Charles Fried. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Kevin Fleming) and Sarah (Albert Christiansen); her grandchildren, Carina (Michael Simone), Ryan, Jeremy and Brett; her former husband Irving Ashkenazy; and her friend Darlene Wills.
