He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hersh and Celia Hersh; and his wife Ellen Rinzler. He is survived by: his sisters, Muriel Levine Pizer and Diana Lipschitz; his children, Nanci Hersh (Scott Dight) and Len Hersh (Tory); his grandchildren, Eliza Lorentzen (Oivind), Charlotte Weinberg (Charlie), Griffin Dight (Cassidy) and Nate Dight; and his great grandchild Elle Lorentzen.
