It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Esposito (Monroe Township, New Jersey), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Joan's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Maniscola and Victor Maniscola; and her husband Joseph Esposito. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie-Ann Elkins (Thomas) and Jennifer Sutherland (John); her sister Gloria Zammit (Charles); and her grandchildren, Lauren Elkins, Cassandra Sutherland and Connor Sutherland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many close friends.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home (205 Rhode Hall Rd, Monroe Township, NJ 08831). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
