He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley Skeba and Agnes Woloszyn Skeba; his wife Laurie H. Skeba; his children, Joseph Skeba Jr., Jenean Meier, Bridget Stone, Daniel Skeba and Stanley Louis Skeba; his grandchildren, Cole Meier, Nicholas Meier, Noah Meier, River Meier and Samuel Stone; his brother Stanley; his sister-in-law Sandy Skeba; his sister Agnes; his brother-in-law Alfred Finocchiaro; and his close friend Daniel Tedesco. He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Saint Jude's Hospital for Children- two charities dear to his heart.
