He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi DiMeglio and Michela DiMeglio; his wife Arline DiMeglio; and his siblings, William, Michael, John DiMeglio, Theresa Castellano and Maria DiMeglio.

He is survived by: his sons, Louis (Cindy) of Millsboro, DE and John DiMeglio of Morristown; and his grandchildren, Louis John Jr. (Karen Rivera) and Sara DiMeglio.
