Chandrowtie Persaud Obituary
It is with tremendous sadness and, deep sorrow to announce the unexpected loss of the most beautiful woman to grace us.
Chandrowtie "Angie" Persaud suddenly passed away on October 17, 2024. Angie was the cherished daughter of Ruby and Harkisoon Somraj, beautiful bride and trophy wife of Jag "Ganesh" Persaud, and super mommy to her son, Ravi Persaud, and daughters, Tavina Persaud and Karina Persaud. Angie also leaves behind her fur grandchildren, Louie, Giovanni, Wembley and London. Also, she was the adoring sister of Samantha Somraj and Arnold Somraj. Angie is survived by her loving and supportive extended family as well as, friends whom have become family.
Angie was a role model, pillar in her community and truly a once in a lifetime woman. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm lit up every room she walked into. Her beauty was stunning all throughout her years. Her undying love and compassion for others made her a true gem. She had the kindest heart and gave the warmest hugs to all from strangers to animals. She was a woman full of integrity and dignity with a flawless character.
Angie had many joys in life. Her absolute favorite moments were all the simple pleasures she shared with her beloved husband of nearly 47 years, Jag. From stealing kisses to casually sipping English tea together and, the little things we often take for granted, these were her richest treasures. She loved gardening where she excelled in her knack for growing the freshest vegetables for her family to enjoy. Taking leisure by watching her favorite shows, cooking and traveling were among the things she loved. She also took great pride in being a very present mom to her children. As they got older, she continued to be their biggest cheerleader feeling rewarded for their gratitude.
Angie, the purest soul to ever touch our lives, has left us all too soon. Our hearts ache as we come to terms with her unexpected death.
