He is survived by: his close friend Jacqueline "Jackie" Johnson; his sibling's children, Patricia Maria Leonard of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Anita Ziyad of Fort Worth, Cheryl Chever of Florida and Glenn Paynter of Norway; and his godson Charles Welborn III of Bloomfield, NJ.
