He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Berman and Martha Berman; his wife Eleanor; his brothers, Albert, Frederick and Irving; and his niece Heidi Berman.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Heather) and Randy (Lizzie); his grandchildren, Melissa (Brenton Smith), Naomi, Erik and Evan; his great grandchildren, Lilliana, Oliver and Luis; and his nieces and nephews, Tom, Bob, Carl, Fred, Kathryn Berman, Patrice Yoder and Lynne Pasciuti.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to HMH Ocean University.
