He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Hansell and Gladys Hansell; and his grandson Kevin Zimmermann. He is survived by: his children, Thomas S. Hansell, Laura Zimmermann and Arlynn Hansell; his sister Lois Steele; his grandchildren, Thomas J. Hansell, Nicole Hansell and Jason Zimmermann; and his great grandchildren, Phoenix Zimmermann, Callie Cuomo, Olivia Cuomo and Emma Hansell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home (109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Ramsey (15 Shuart Ln, Ramsey, NJ 07446). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery (316 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446).
