He was predeceased by: his father Richard R. "Dick" Voorhees (NJ). He is survived by: his children, Jill (Mark Corrigan) and Randall (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Gabrielle and Darius; and his great grandchild Meilani.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Montvale Free Public Library.
