She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Duyne and James Van Duyne; her husband William Abbott; and her children, Diane Lovelace and Daniel Abbott.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Elta A. Abbott; her grandchildren, Sarah, Melissa, Jennifer, Jessica and Clifford; her niece Sheila Luterzo; and her friend Diane Cahill. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Montville Reformed Church Cemetery (9 Church Ln, Montville, NJ 07045).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lillian's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
