She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Orth and Florence Orth; her siblings, Edward Orth (Dixie) and Marlene Hall (Ray); her husband John Edward "Ed" Gilmore; her great-grandparents, Emily Gowdy (Colton Gowdy), Penelope Palacio and Georgia Gowdy (Malcolm Gowdy); and her husband Robert Gowdy.
She is survived by: her children, David Hering (Joann), Diane Gowdy, Barry Gowdy (Kim), Brett Gowdy (Spencer Mullee) and Brian Gowdy; and her grandchildren, Dana Hering, David Hering, Darra Gowdy, Alden Gowdy (Lauren), Kayla Wood (Zeke), Brandon Gowdy, Shannon Gowdy, Hannah Gowdy, Zoe Gowdy, Colin Gilmore, Aeryn Gilmore, Ciara Hill, Ethan Hill, Lauren Gilmore and Amanda Gilmore.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Givnish Funeral Home (600 E Main St, Maple Shade, NJ 08052). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Colestown Cemetery (100 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034).
