It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Irene George of Morganville, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sweeney and Alice Golden. She is survived by: her husband Thomas George; her daughters, Kristin Roegiers (Anthony) and Kerri George; her siblings, Susan Blacknick (Bob), James Sweeney (Kathleen) and Irene George (Timothy); and her grandchildren, Thomas Roegiers and Jack Roegiers. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (186 Gordons Corner Rd, Manalapan Township, NJ 07726).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Diane's honor.
